UCR Anthropology Club

The UCR Anthropology Club is a wonderful interactive club that provides a supportive and fun environment for lovers of anthropology. The club is open to undergraduate students in all majors, and graduate students are invited to participate in the festivities. Every quarter the club will have field trips (some with behind the scene tours in museums), guest speakers, and themed meetings. The next meeting will be at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 in 1350 Watkins Hall. Professor Anne Sutherland will be giving a guest lecture on "Identity Politics in Texas or Why George Bush Thinks He's a Cowboy." Please email the club if you have any questions or for meeting times and locations at anthroclubatucr@yahoo.com.
